If you have yet to visit one of the Queen City’s finest attractions, The Levine Museum of the New South, then what are you waiting for? Conveniently located in the heart of uptown, this history museum focuses on life in the Charlotte Area after the American Civil War. The museum includes both temporary and permanent exhibits on a range of Southern-related topics.
On display starting this weekend you can view the “And The Struggle Continues” exhibit, which chronicles the mission of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference following the Civil Rights Movement.
Or come out in April when they will feature “Taste of the New South: A Global Dish,” which will be an interactive exhibit where you receive foods from various cultures that make up the Charlotte melting pot today- YUM!
