This holiday weekend will bring all kinds of celebrations to Charlotte, including the 16th annual Charlotte Labor Day Parade, which begins at 11 a.m. Monday! The event includes local labor union floats, political candidates, bands, performers, beauty queens, car clubs, and community groups.
Parade participants will gather at 8:30 a.m. at 701 N. College St. The parade will begin at the Hal Marshall Center and proceed down Tryon Street through the Square before turning left onto Third Street and ending at College and Third streets.
Come on out and enjoy the festivities… you may get some free candy!
